The Adventures of McDorky

Dr. Eugene McDorky is a scientist with a mission...even if he can't always tell you what that mission might be. Created by Alex McFry as a character in a series of plays, McDorky followed Alex to high school for a web series—"The Adventures of McDorky!" There, he was joined by characters like Rhonda Pearce (played by Megan Wise), Mrs. Griggs, Pedro, Monica McDorky (his gorgeous trophy wife) and more.

Each of these videos was created to accompany material learned in the classroom. Whether it was to teach a grammar lesson or parody of Beowulf, the series kept audiences active and engaged.

The series is what sparked the creation of McDorky Productions. Alex saw how influential his characters could be to those around him, and based his media production company on that spark. While their adventures might have ended, McDorky and Rhonda still serve as the "mascots" of the company.
